English to Finnish literary translator
My career as a literary translator took an early start with a few Redeye comic books during my early teens, although my career as a professional literary translator didn’t commence until the late nineties, when I was hired to translate Christopher Sandford’s biography Kurt Cobain. Since then, I have translated about fifty books, most of them for major Finnish publishers, and several short stories for magazines.
As an active amateur musician and recordist, I have translated several musical biographies and other music related books. Being a sf author myself, I have likewise translated many great science fiction/fantasy books. My other areas of expertise are astronomy and astrophysics, maritime history and cultural matters.
